Veselka Farms is a haven of healing and growth, founded by Dr. Christine Charyton, Ph.D., a distinguished psychologist, educator, and equestrian. Located in the heart of Pataskala, Ohio, our farm is a place where science, art, and nature converge to create transformative experiences.

Our Mission

At Veselka Farms, our mission is to provide a holistic, nurturing environment where individuals can heal, grow, and thrive. Through the power of nature therapy, animal-assisted therapy, equine-assisted psychotherapy, and creative arts therapy, we aim to empower our clients to overcome challenges and embrace their full potential.

Meet Dr. Christine Charyton

Dr. Charyton is a trailblazer in the fields of psychology, neurology, and engineering. With a Ph.D. in psychology and a career spanning academia, research, and private practice, she brings a wealth of knowledge and compassion to her work. Her accolades include the Humanitarian Award from NCATE and her role as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Ohio State University.

 

At Veselka Farms, Dr. Charyton integrates her expertise in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and positive psychology with innovative approaches like equine-assisted psychotherapy and Creative Arts and Mandala therapy. Her passion for helping individuals with psychological and neurological conditions is matched only by her love for horses and the arts.
